ABOUT

Archaeologist-turned-composer manager, lifelong violinist, and whisky fan for more than two decades. Naomi loves the quiet, reflective space that great music and a great dram create — a moment to breathe, listen, and notice the small details. In 2020 she began pairing whiskies with classical pieces on a blog; Whisky High Notes is her way of sharing that joy with guests and listeners.

Naomi, keen to combine her two passions; as an advocate for classical music by day and a whisky enthusiast by night… started a blog pairing whisky with classical music in 2020. Naomi wanted to share this idea further, creating ‘Whisky High Notes’, inviting guests from the Classical world to discuss the shared breadth, depth and beauty that exists between classical music and whisky. With both pastimes, it’ a wonderful way to sit back and relax and take a moment to step away from the stresses of the day-to-day.

So come and join Naomi on this journey exploring how the worlds of classical music and whisky combine to awaken all the senses.

Naomi's work in Classical Music

The Soho Whisky Club is a place I have frequented and spent many an hour over the last decade. I am incredibly grateful to them for the use of their wonderful space for filming the podcast on site, with over 600 whiskies in the background as just the perfect backdrop
